Chamber South Recognizes Chief Hurley
On April 13, 2011,
Miami-Dade Schools Police Department, Chief Charles J. Hurley was recognized by Chamber South for selflessly devoting his time to helping others in our community. Chief Hurley was nominated by the Non-Violence Project USA, an organization of peacemakers working to prevent youth violence. The presentation was held at the Carrabba’s Italian Grill at South Miami.
Chamber South strives to improve the lives of our citizens by enhancing their economic welfare. They act as a leading advocate for businesses by stimulating growth and shielding local economies from deterioration, and they give their members an edge over the competition by providing them with benefits only they can offer. Chamber South has become an effective voice for the business community due in part to their valuable committees and task forces. They provide their members with the opportunities essential to business such as various networking events, information updates, and discounted services.
