Miami-Dade Schools Police Department (MDSPD) complies with federal, State, and local regulations and provides equal access and equal employment and services on a nondiscriminatory basis to all persons seeking employment. As a condition of employment, MDSPD requires that all prospective employees successfully pass a comprehensive and unbiased background investigation which reveals no unfavorable, derogatory, or disqualifying incidents or behavior.

The Background Investigation process shall apply to all persons seeking employment with MDSPD, including persons currently employed with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
