The Operations Division is responsible for the School Resource Officer Program, Communications, and Data Statistics. This Division has approximately 61 percent of Department’s personnel, which is spread geographically in the regional centers county-wide. Police Officers are assigned to middle schools and high schools. Police service is provided to elementary schools as needed. The Department provides each officer with uniforms, police equipment (handcuffs, expandable batons, bicycles, etc.) and a marked patrol vehicle. The Operations Division also coordinates the Department’s fully equipped Field Force Unit.
